THE CONCEPT OF TECHNOLOGY

There are many views about the concept of technology these perspectives help us to understand how the transfer of technology had been attracted researches from all disciplines. According to Kumar (1999) Technology has two components:

Physical Informational. From the other side Sahal (1981) said technology is as configuration observing that the transfer object. Dunning (1994) explained that there are two basic components:  Knowledge as technique and doing things to get a result. Arrow (1962) showed the early concept of technology which is applicable and easy to reproduce.  Finally, I think that technology refers to tangible and intangible things that can be the life easier the goal of its use in order to get a result that’s the reason there are many areas where technology is.

ICT`S IN EDUCATION

It is an important issue for improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning (Plump, Anderson, law and Qualex, 2009). Technology improved and the same time there were more expansion of computer networking and research about how this technology could help in the learning process. Kolb described the use of technology in the learning process (1997) as: watching, thinking, feeling and doing. ICT`S changed the education improving the practice into the curriculum and the school systems. Learning and teachers adequate hardware and facilities to get benefits from the digital era, the era of networking the software improved too and extended the services and resources to other communities, from the other hand the researches brought us many transformations in the education with the systematic planning, this integration process helps the students to encourage for integral knowledge. There are many points of view about this meaning and they are divided in: technological and pedagogical according to the constructivism theory. Actually I think is very important the use of technology in the classroom because we can teach using interesting activities and students can learn more about everything.

THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY IN ENGLISH TEACHING

With the globalization English developed spread around the world now English is the second language or the first language for many countries, the use of the technology had helped teachers and students to get the knowledge in a funny way, for example teachers can explain topics in class like a challenge for all generations making the profession more productive and interesting, at the same time technology is a tool to get modern styles of knowledge to satisfy students. Actually the use of technology in the language process is very important because our mother tongue is Spanish and using technology we can approach to the real sounds and use funny activities to bring nontraditional education.

THE ADVANTAGES OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING ENGLISH

I think there are many advantages  using information technology in teaching English one of the most important is the process in the constructivism theory in which teachers and students can learn together every day, in addition teachers can be more productive workers using the information on the net and students can practice online every time. Teach English have many advantages in this era if teachers take the chance to learn new things about how manage the classes trough the net or other tools with technology.

THE IMPACT OF USING TECHNOLOGY

I believe that using the technology impact in the life of the students and teachers and all the community, life has been change according to the technology and mostly in the way to teach another language, we can identify some relevant aspects which help us to recognize how the language works. Teachers began to take advantage from the new inventions in technology as applications or web pages to give additional value to our knowledge. Students have to be capable to use technology in the right way in order to improve their communicative skills.

Through the history technology has changed the way people see the life and the educational process that’s the reason technology has had a great impact in the education allowing the cultural exchange and the spread in English around the world.   As an English teacher I can say that the impact in the learning process is great because students feel comfortable and is not an obligation to study they can play, sing and learn at the same time, parents recognize this important use in the learning process for their children and they try to use them.
